Dale Glenn, 73, died April 16, 2017, at the New Madrid Nursing Center in New Madrid.
Born July 5, 1943, in Dexter to the late Charley and Ruby Walker Glenn, he was employed at Noranda Aluminum until his retirement. A veteran of the Air Force Reserves, he was a member of the American Legion and a past member of the New Madrid Eagles Club. Also he was a member of the Sikeston Country Club and the SEMO Seniors Golf Association and a past member of the New Madrid County Club. He was an avid golfer and a loving grandfather.
He was married to Betty Davis, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, Greg (Derenda) Diamond of St. Charles and Brandon (Isabella) Fairhurst of Sikeston; four daughters, Kim Diamond of Flowood, Miss., Angela (Shawn) Wilson of Matthews, Alisha (Tom) Rychnovsky of Columbia and Julie (Roger) Hanner of Poplar Bluff; three brothers, Larry (Pansy) Glenn of Cape Girardeau, Steve (Sonja) Glenn of Kewanee, and Dean (Diana) Glenn of Georgetown, Texas; and 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday. Travis Lambert will officiate.
Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
