Donald H. Cook, 82, died Nov. 29, 2016, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center in Sikeston.
Born Oct. 10, 1934, in Lilbourn, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Post at Lilbourn. He was a deputy with the New Madrid County Sheriff’s Department until his retirement.
Survivors include: two sons, Jimmy Cook of Apox, N.C., and Sam Cook of Cuba, Mo; one daughter, Terry Cook of Cuba; a special friend, Pauline Estes; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Martha Bell.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m until time of services at 1 p.m. Monday at the Richard Funeral Home in New Madrid.
Burial will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
