Deborah Ann Simpson

Deborah Ann Simpson, age 71, passed away January 24th, 2024, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She was born August 13th, 1952, in Lilburn, Missouri, daughter of the late Davie George Simpson and Lena Sullinger Simpson.
After completing college, she held a few teaching positions in Southeast Missouri before teaching high school English in the Puxico school district. She found her home in Puxico and the school district.  Her fellow teachers became close, well-respected friends who visited often after her retirement following 24 years of teaching at Puxico of her total 38 years of teaching.  She was a member of Duck Creek Baptist Church. Her fellow church members were so kind and helpful to her in so many ways.
She is survived by; one sister, Barbara Giraudo of Lilbourn, Missouri, one nephew, John Ross (wife, Kelly) Giraudo of Washington Illinois, two great nephews, Ethan Giraudo and Jones Giraudo of Washington, Illinois, she is also survived by two aunts, Patsy Tisher and Margaret Simpson, and one uncle, Tim Sullinger, all of Lilbourn, Missouri and many cousins and Friends.
