Leon Lee Cox

Leon Lee Cox, 72, died May 25, 2016, at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau. 
Born April 3, 1944, in Gloster, Miss., to the late Farris and Martha Mae McKnight Cox, he was a member of the Calvary M.B. Church of Parma. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving from 1968-1974.
On March 31, 2007, he married Lillie Holmes, and she survives of the home.
Other survivors include: three sons, Leon Cox Jr. of Denver, Leonard Holmes of Cameron and Leland Charles Cox of Parma; two daughters, Brenda Holmes of Malden and Claudette Johnson of Poplar Bluff; and one sister, Dorothy Bassett.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Starks.
