Wilma Barker
LILBOURN, Mo. Wilma Barker passed away Oct. 27, 2021, at her home in Lilbourn at the age of 83 years.
She was born July 13, 1938, in Butler Township, Pemiscot County, Missouri, to the late Neavel and Ida
Lois Stover Hurley.
She was married to Carl Barker, who preceded her in death in 2013.
She was a member since 1967 of the Pentecostal Church, New Madrid, Missouri, having taught Sunday
school classes for over 50 years. She was a teacher in the Portageville School District and North Pemiscot School District.
Survivors include: daughter, Pam and “Wimpy” Henry, Lilbourn; son, Jeffrey Keith and Andrea Barker, of Bloomfield, Missouri; sister, Norma Hurley Davis (Doyle), New Madrid; brothers, Jerry Hurley, North
Carolina and Jimmy and Barbara Hurley, Texas; and 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, Johnny Hurley.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time for services at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30 at Riverbend Pentecostal Church in New Madnd with Rev. Barker and G.L. Keene officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mounds Park Cemetery with Richards Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
