Walter
Louis Foster was born on August 8, 1952 in Osceola, Arkansas to Walter Foster
and Lorene Rhodes. His parents, his
brother James, sister Evelyn, and daughter Katreva have preceded him in
death. Walter transitioned into eternity
on November 21, 2022.
Walter graduated from New Madrid High School in 1971 and
joined the United States Army soon after.
After a tour of combat duty, he discharged from the military and entered
the workforce. He was considered a “jack
of many trades” and held various occupations.
Walter was a hard worker and could be seen working manual labor jobs as
late as this past summer.
Walter enjoyed spending time with his family. ‘Pops’ as he was affectionately called would be the life of the gathering with his jokes and laughter. His sense of humor kept the people around him laughing and enjoying his company. Walter was also admired for his loyalty to family and friends.
Walter leaves to cherish his memory a sister Deloise
Foster; four brothers Wilburn (Odessa) Alexander, Willie (Sheila) Alexander,
Bruce Alexander and Ira Foster. Walter
also leaves 9 children: Anthony (Sheri) Foster, Darren
(Teresa) Foster, Kimberly Williams, Rico Williams, Demarcus
Williams, Sonja Williams, Yolanda Foster, Jeremy James and Walter Foster Jr. He also leaves behind a host of
grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
