Virgie Pauline (House) Carnell

Virgie Pauline (House) Carnell was born to Atlas and Maggie House on November 15, 1933. She departed this life on August 22, 2025 at the age of 91.

On December 1, 1949 she was united in marriage to Dennis Calvin Carnell. They were married 59 years and from that union 13 children were born.

Preceding her in death were her husband, 4 daughters, Sharon, Patricia, Margaret and Sandra. Two sons, Jimmy and Calvin.

She leaves to mourn, her daughters Melissa (Derek) Brown of Lilbourn, MO, Paula Carnell of Portageville, MO, Vicki Carnell of Malden, MO. Her sons, Greg Carnell of Dexter, MO and Richard (Michelle) Carnell of Gautier, MS, Larry ((Diane) Carnell of Essex, MO and Jerry (Meredith) Carnell of Glencoe, AL.
One brother, Gene House of Malden, Mo, 36 grandchildren and several great grand children 

Pallbearers are her grandsons, Payton Brown, Dawson Carnell, Joey Pikey, Dennis Carnell, Russell Law, Tim McCulley, David Douglas, Caleb Carnell and Dustin Carnell.

Visitation will be held Wednesday August 27th, 2025 from 11am to 1 pm at Richards Funeral Home with Funeral service to follow at the Funeral Home at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Portage City Cemetery in Portageville, MO.
