Thomas "Tommy" Tyler Broughton, 79, of Memphis, TN., passed away March 25, 2019 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.
Tommy was born July 25, 1939 in New Madrid, MO., to the late George Clay Sr. and Hallie Cravens Broughton.
On November 27, 1968 in Memphis he married Kathryn Ann Hales Broughton, who survives of the home. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 595 and a Veteran of the Untied States Army.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Johnny Broughton.
Survivors include; two sons and daughters-in-law, Aaron Tyler and wife Theresa Broughton of Houston, TX. and Jason Hales and wife Christine Broughton of Memphis, TN., four brothers, George Clay Jr. and wife Peggy Broughton of New Madrid, Joe and Connie Broughton of Sikeston, Calvin and Mary Beth Broughton of Jefferson City, and Mark and Dottie Broughton of New Madrid, three sisters, Ella LaValle, of New Madrid, Martha Ann and Timmy Farrenberg of Farrenberg, MO., and Christie Broughton of Jackson, MO., and three grandchildren, Addison and Branham Broughton of Houston, TX., and Avery Broughton of Memphis, TN.
