Samuel M. Barnett, 54 of New Madrid, Missouri, passed away January 20, 2020 at his home in New Madrid.
He was born March 5, 1965 in Dexter, Missouri to the late Jimmy Lynn Barnett and Dianna Kasting Barnett, who survives of Sikeston.
He was employed at Noranda Aluminum until it closing and he was currently employed at the Southeast Correctional Center. He was a Past Worthy President of 10 years of New Madrid Eagles Aerie # 4206 and was introduced in to the Grand Eagles Hall of Fame. and was a booster member of the American Legion Post # 595 of New Madrid. Sam was a loving and dedicated father and husband.
In addition to his mom, he is also survived by: his wife, Vicki Barnett, who survives of the home, one son and daughter-in-law, Samuel and Anna Manley Barnett of New Madrid, one daughter, Amanda Michelle Barnett of New Madrid, three sisters, Tammy Dale Six of Dexter, Veda Suzette Barnett of Sikeston, and Tracey Dianne Gromer of Dexter, one brother, Jimmy Lynn Barnett of New York, four grandchildren, Joshua Turner, Olivia Turner, Charolyn Marie Barnett and Emerson Jane Barnett, other relatives and many friends.
