Ruby Bush Davidson, 97, of Lilbourn, went to be with the lord on Tuesday August 3, 2021 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston Missouri.
Ruby was born May 1, 1924, in Dardanelle, AR., to the late Kittie Simmons Farmer and Joe Farmer.
Ruby loved to make biscuits. Its estimated she has made about 164,000 biscuits and shared them with family and friends. She loved her family and prayed for the daily. She loved her church, her pastor, and attended services on Sunday before going to the hospital on Monday July 12, where she amazed doctors and nurses with her fight for life. She made an impression on everyone who took care of her. She was a member of the General Baptist Church in Lilbourn, where she attended faithfully. She was beautiful inside and out. She loved gospel music and enjoyed living a simple, but full life. Some other things she enjoyed was cooking for her family and walking and riding her bike.
Ruby is survived by, five children; Kenneth and Judy Bush of Bernie, Missouri, Pat and Lewis Scott of Marble Hill, Missouri, Glenda and Wayne Kelley of Ravenden, AR., Richard and Mary Bush of Marston, Missouri, and Kathy Hornburg of Lilbourn, nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, one sister, Jessie Stevens of Blytheville, AR., other relatives and many friends.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by, her first husband, RC Bush in 1979 and her second husband LeRoy Davidson in 1993.
