Rhonda Lou (Shaw) Riggs

Rhonda Lou Shaw Riggs, 70, of New Madrid, Missouri

passed away December 25, 2021 at her home in New

Madrid.

Rhonda was born April 11, 1951, in New Madrid, Missouri,

to the late Gerald Shaw and Bonita Evelyn Watson Shaw.

Survivors include: two daughters, Rachell Riggs and Julia

and Rodney York and one son Jonathan and Candace Riggs four grandchildren: Grayson and Jordan York, Gabe York and Colby Vaughn, Lauren Riggs, Betsy Riggs, and Tharon Harper all of New Madrid. Two brothers, Michael and Mary Watson of Imperial Missouri and Gerald Shaw, Jr. of Sikeston and a host of other relatives including a special cousin Jimmie Sue Whitehead.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Jim Watson.

She was a lifelong member of The Riverbend Pentecostal

Church. She found great joy in making candy and

spending time with her family.
