Paul "Arlin" Sweet, Jr., 85, of Farrenburg, MO., passed away July, 25, 2020 at the Golden Living Center in New Madrid.
He was born March 3, 1935 in Aquilla, MO., to the late Genevieve Perry and Paul Adam Sweet.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by; his wife, Betty Sweet and two brothers, Bobby and Terry Sweet.
Arlin was a farmer and worked at the power plant in New Madrid, MO., for 10 years. He had invented the battery cable pliers and sweets fishing pole holders.
Survivors include: one daughter, Betty Sweet Adams of Port St. Lucie, FL., three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one brother, Bill Haynes.
