Melba Arlene (Farris) Horton

Melba A. Horton 92, of Sikeston, MO., passed away July 25, 2018 at her home in Sikeston.

On February 4, 1926 in Morehouse, MO., she was born to the late, Alice Eva Lockridge and James Allen Farris. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

in addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by; her husband, J.B. Horton, one daughter, Eva Horton Pettus, one brother and two sisters.

Survivors include: two daughters, Janelle (husband, Ken) Burch of Sikeston and Karen Horton of Sikeston, one son-in-law, Rev. L. Glenn Pettus, Phd., two grandchildren, Phillip Burch and Amelia Patterson, both of Sikeston, and two great grandchildren, Julia and Sophia Schuerenberg, both of Sikeston, MO.
