Mary Lou Boldt Kimball Hector, 88, of New Madrid, MO, passed away June 16, 2023 at her home in New Madrid.
Mary was born August 25, 1934 in Fulton, KY, to the late Charles Boldt and Myrtle Cooper Boldt.
Mary retired from the New Madrid garment/coat factory, where she sewed buttons on the coats. She also worked at the nursing home in New Madrid for several years, and drove the transit bus for the city of New Madrid. In her younger years, she had picked and chopped cotton. Mary was a member of the New Madrid Baptist Church.
Being a mother was what she cherished the most and had nine wonderful children to show for it. She did a great job raising them, and they will miss her love, smile, and daily phone calls to all of her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include: Seven children; Jesse (Kay) Kimball of New Madrid, Robert Kimball of Marston, Julie Brock of Marston, Benny Kimball of New Madrid, Michael (Leah) Kimball of Houston, TX, Jacque (James) Crafton of Malden, and Timmy Hector of Bloomfield. Five brothers; Russel Boldt of Eureka, MO, Butch (Erma) Boldt of Redwood, CA, Wayne Boldt of Eureka, MO, Jim (Carol) Boldt of Eureka, MO, and Frank “Bubber” Boldt of Eureka, MO. Two sisters; Shirley Lavley of Pacific, MO and Carol (Jim) Novak of Pacific, MO. twenty grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren, other relatives, and many friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: two daughters; Debbie Kimball and Sandy Kimball. One son-in-law; Gerald Brock. Two sisters; Jodie Staffey and Linda Phillips. One great-grandson; Noah. One special aunt; Christina Boldt, other relatives and many friends.
