Mary E. Poore passed away Jan. 27, 2017, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston at the age of 90 years.
She was born Feb. 17, 1926, in Adona, Ark., to the late Robert Lee and Ollie J. Richardson Ford.
On June 6, 1970, in Morley, she married Clarence “Doc” Poore, who preceded her in death in 2014.
Survivors include: two daughters, Sonya Collier of Paducah, Ky., and Terry Kennedy of Bloomfield; one brother, Wayne Ford of Grapevine, Texas; eight grandchildren, Kevin Ash, Christi Ashley, Tonya Ling, Dustin Frazier, Stephanie Walker, Amber Eakins, Christopher Moreland and Richard Brian Ash; 14 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: three sons, Richard Dale Ash, Samuel Joe Ash and Danny Lee Ash; two sisters, Iva Hughes and Sue Carofiol; four brothers, Bob Ford, Charles Ford, Dalton Ford and Jerry Ford; one grandson, Mark Ash; and one great-grandson, Braylen Ash.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. January 30 at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid with Webb Manley officiating.
Burial followed in the Evergreen Cemetery.
