Lillian Catherine (Glass) Hunter

Lillian Catherine Glass Hunter was born in Roseland, Arkansas on August 9, 1933. She was the 3rd daughter of Louis C Glass and Lillian Harber Glass.

Lillian passed away peacefully from this life on July 29, 2024 with her youngest child, youngest grand-daughter and son-in-law at her side. She was preceded in death by her husband James R Hunter, Sr, parents Louis and Lillian Glass, siblings, Charles Earl, Louis Jr. and Linetta. She is survived by siblings, Pearl Glass Allen, Anne Glass Anthony and Augusta Glass; Children, Renetta A. Hunter Land (James), James R Hunter, Jr, MD, Karen Hunter Mitchell (Darryl) and Adrienne A Hunter (Wells) Green (Darvin); Grandchildren, James III (Penny), Marlaina, Janelle (Farzad), Darryl Jr. (Amber), Kellyn (Antonia), Jonathan, Jenna (David), Ashley (Will), Angelica (T.C.), and Alexis; step-children Vanessa and KorRiee; great-grandchildren, Trinity, Gisella, Maya, Naomi, Ella, William Kingston IV, Darryl IV, and Jonah; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; beloved family dog Othello.

Memorials may be made to Travis D. Howard Scholarship 

Rosary will be held at Richards Funeral Home on Friday August 9, 2024 at 5:30pm.

Visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm Following the Rosary at Richards Funeral Home, New Madrid, MO

Memorial Funeral Service will be held Saturday 8/10/2024 at 11am at Richards Funeral Home

Burial will be at St Mary’s Cemetery in EvergreenPark, Illinois..
