Kenneth Rodgers Cope

KENNETH RODGERS COPE Kenneth Rodgers Cope, long time resident of New Madrid, passed away peacefully in his sleep 
August 16, 2018 at the age of 75. He was born Nov 4, 1942 in Rison, AR to the late Claude and Cloma 
Cope. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby John and Boyce, and one sister Annie Bell Locke. 
He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Jason and Jenny Cope of New Madrid, two grandsons, Clay Cope and Craig Cope, his sister Ruthie Lee Breech, and brother Donald Cope of Rison, AR. Other survivors include an abundance of loving nieces and nephews and many friends. Ken was a member of the United Methodist Church, served his community as alderman,
merchant, and other civic boards.He managed The Corsage Shop since the 70's, where he excelled in floral design, creativity, and beautiful arrangements. 
Visitation is scheduled from 11:00 am until time of services at 2 pm Monday at the Richards 
Funeral Home Chapel in New Madrid. Rev Bob McQueen will officiate. 
Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
