Julia Elizabeth (Moss) Froman

Julia Elizabeth Moss Froman, 90 went home to be with the Lord on January 26, 2019. She was born on

May 11, 1928 in Farrenburg, MO to John Henry and Shelby Wava Mahan Moss. She passed
away peacefully at her home with family at her side. She was married to Loyd L. Froman in

Piggott, AR August 12, 1955 and enjoyed a blessed 54 years of marriage until his passing on
April 24, 2009. She was a lifelong resident of Lilbourn, MO, graduating from Lilbourn High
School in 1947. After graduation, she worked at the Bank of New Madrid until 1950, at which
time she was employed at Jolly Farms and Gin Company in Catron, MO, as bookkeeper and
secretary until her retirement in 1998. She was baptized in 1939 at First Baptist Church in
Lilbourn where she remained a member until her passing, having served many years as

treasurer and clerk and other positions. She loved serving the Lord and others. She was a
member of the Lilbourn Civic Improvement Club for many years and served as president 1997-
98. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing Bridge, camping, and square
dancing. She is preceded in death by her loving parents Henry Moss and Shelby Wava Moss, her devoted husband and three brothers: Henry Russell (Scott) Moss, Bobby Lee Moss, and Larry Allen Moss; three sisters: Juanita Moss Deal, Vivian Moss Holley, and Martha Moss Cooper. She is survived by two brothers: Chester Lindy Moss and wife Jan of San Antonio, TX, and Darryl Wayne Moss and wife Gloria of Lilbourn, MO. She also leaves behind Cendra Sandlin Moss (widow of Bobby), numerous loving
nieces, nephews, friends, and special neighbor, Denise Beaher.
