Joyce Ann Smith was born Jan 27, 1960 to Joseph James and Ida B Maben. She confessed in Christ at an early age. She is preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather Wilbert Maben, sister Artha Clark and brothers Will Taylor and Sammy Thomas.
She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Ida Smith and Elizabeth Smith and one son Adrias Smith. Five granddaughters Octavia Smith, Jailynne Hester, Gabrielle Hester, Joycelynne Jackson, Akara Jackson. Three great-granddaughters Kensi Hester, Kaari Hester, Kharis Hester. Three great-grandsons Karter Hester, A’Kari Jirdon, Josiah Brown. Her forever soulmate Eternal Pitts, Jr of Gates, TN, four special nieces Theresa Taylor and Delose Taylor of Louisville, KY, Asica Yancy of Sikeston, MO, Marcie Yancy of Chicago, IL and a special nephew Drew Yancy Burleson of Portageville, MO. One sister, Dorothy (Willie) Harrrington of New Madrid, MO and one brother Wilbert Earl Maben of New Madrid, MO. One aunt Lurlene Smith of Kalamazoo, MI, and a special sister Georgia Mae Bankhead of Murray, KY “ love you always lil sis”. And a host of nieces nephews, great nieces and great nephews and cousins

Visitation is Saturday March 22, 2025 at Richards Funeral Home from 11 am to 12 noon.
Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 12 noon.
Burial will follow the funeral at Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid
