John Jordan was born December 26, 1947 to Elnora Denwood and John Jordan. He accepted Christ at a
young age at the United Methodist Church in New Madrid Mo.
He graduated from O'Bannon High School and worked at the United States Postal Service for a number
of years. He lived life at the pace he choose. He was a quiet and peaceful person, He truly enjoyed
some of the simple pleasures of life, such as his T.V. Guide, coffee and cigarettes.
He recommitted his life to Christ before his departure on August 22, 2018 at Evelyn's Hospice House
Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
He married Sylvia Mannings of that marriage he leaves behind one daughter Valencia Jiles, two
grandchildren Aniyah and Quincy Jiles. Four sisters Irma, Charlene, Alberta and Carybee. Two brothers
David and Elvis. One aunt Madam Collins, one uncle Milton Waters and a host of nieces, nephews,
cousins and other relatives.
