Joe Shanks

Joe Shanks, 90 of LaForge, Missouri, passed away January 21, 2020 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born March 26, 1929, in LaForge, MO., to the late Welton and Maude Brooks Shanks.

On December 26, 1954, he was married to Lee Horner Shanks, who survives of the home. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and served as a medic during the Korean Conflict.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by; Shaun Shanks of Farrenburg, MO., two grandchildren, Lindsay Joy Shanks of New Madrid and Natalie Anne Crawford of Steele, MO., four grandchildren, Ashton Paul Wood, Parker "Dash" Holmes, Noah Pikey Holmes, Riley Jo Crawford, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
