Jimmy Dale Courtois passed away Nov. 6, 2016, at the Elvis Presley Trauma Center in Memphis, Tenn., at the age of 66 years.
He was born Jan. 25, 1950, in Cadet to the late Carl and Ruby Pearl Hedrick Courtois.
On June 14, 1969, in Old Mines, Mo., he was married to Donna Sue Reando Courtois, who survives of the home.
He was employed at Noranda Aluminum until his retirement and was a member of Eagle Aerie 4206.
Surviving in addition to his wife are: one daughter and son-in-law, Missy and Ronnie Chamberlain of Lilbourn; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Allison Courtois of New Madrid; two brothers Terry Courtois of Lilbourn and Ernie Courtois of Caladonia, Mo; two sisters, Vivian Halbert of Caledonia, Mo., and Rosanne Schuller of Arnold, Mo; six grandchildren, Jordan Courtois, Lance Chamberlain, Lane Chamberlain, Kagen Courtois, Slade Courtois and Saylor Courtois; and two great-grandchildren, Kamdyn Grey and Broughton Chamberlain.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy and Albert Courtois, and three sisters, Stella Courtois, Karen Goodson and Norma Jacobs.
Visitation will be from noon until time of services at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid. Carl Courtois will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Mounds Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jordan Courtois, Lance Chamberlain, Lane Chamberlain, Kagen Courtois, Ronnie Chamberlain and David Courtois.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Schuller, Terry Courtois, Slade Courtois, Sonny Halbert, Jeff Woods, Tim Thompson, Trevor Mims and Josh Nowell.
