Jerry Louis Jackson, age 70, of Lilbourn, Missouri passed away on February 10, 2022 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri surrounded by loving family.

Born September 24, 1951 in Barnes Ridge near East Prairie, Missouri to the late Louis Jackson and Violet Wilson Jackson, Jerry lived in Lilbourn for the past 33 years. He retired from MoDOT in 2010. On January 30, 1981 he married his beloved wife Rebecca “Becky” (Pierce) Jackson, who preceded him in death on May 16, 2010.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by four brothers, Frank, Ralph, Neil and Johnny Cleo and one sister, Stella.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Zack and Alex Jackson and grandson Beckham, of Sikeston, MIssouri. In addition he is survived by his brother Leonard Jackson of Brandon, Mississippi and two sisters Jane Aycock of East Prairie, Missouri and Judy Callahan of Raymond, Mississippi, as well as a host of relatives and friends.

Jerry was a hard working family man who enjoyed hunting and fishing. His focus and passion in life was family and friends. He will be remembered as a devoted and loving father, “Paw”, brother, uncle and friend.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
