JERIS ELAINE MERIDETH GOETZ 

Jeris Elaine Merideth Goetz of Sikeston, MO Born November 13, 1937 in Dunklin County MO to Owen E. Merideth and Dorothy C. Menz Merideth 

She went to be with her heavenly family on July 13, 2021. On Jan. 2, 1955, she married Francis Cleophas Goetz, who preceded her in death on Dec. 28, 1997. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Francis Owen Goetz and Ricky Delaine Goetz. 

She was survived by two brothers, Carl (Annabelle) and Dale (Donna) Merideth of Sikeston, MO. and three sisters, Joanne Hardin (Edward Lee) of Kewanee, MO, Janice, Katy (Steve) Howell of Wappapello, MO, Karen Wade of Cape Girardeau, MO, four sister-in-laws, Glenda Woods, of Scottsburg, IN, Patricia (Lee)Stroup, of Prairieville, LA, Delois Goetz of Sikeston, MO, Tressie Goetz of Bonita Springs, FL, and brother-in-law Terry Goetz, of Helen GA. 

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Ira Merideth, Kenneth Merideth, Gary Merideth and Don Merideth. 

She and her husband pastored three churches in Mississippi, Illinois and Texas. They were Shaklee supervisors. Jeris was a retired realtor. 

Survived by several nieces, nephews and loved ones. Funeral arrangements are by Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid, Missouri. 

Graveside service at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, MO on Monday, July 19, 2021 at 10:30 AM with Jeris’s nephew, Andy Stroup officiating 

A celebration of life for Jeris, Francis, Francis Owen and Ricky will be held July 31, 2021 at 3:00 PM at the Church on the Rock in Morehouse, MO.
