Janis Gale Jines

Janis Gale Jines, 77, passed away Friday, September 26, 2025, in the New Madrid Nursing Center.

Janis was born September 19, 1948 to Louie Jines and Mary Lee D’Celis. Janis grew up in Parma, MO and attended Parma High School. After high school Janis joined the USO shows. This show traveled the overseas circuits. Janis started her professional singing career in 1962, she has appeared with many top names in the country field. After her career she still enjoyed singing and playing her guitar.

After Janis’s singing career she and her mother started a Cleaning Service, that covered a large area from Parma, Malden, Sikeston, and. New Madrid. They were well known throughout the area.

She was preceded in death by her father. She leaves behind her mother; Mary Lee Jines who resides in the New Madrid Nursing Center.

Visitation will be at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid, Mo at 10 am on Tuesday September 30, 2025 with graveside services at Bernie City Cemetery at 12 noon.
