Heather met her husband Jeff Polk in the summer of 1993. They were married August 15, 1998. On their one year anniversary Jeff surrendered to the ministry and began to pursue his pastorate. Heather never signed up to become a pastor’s wife, but took the title in stride and made her mark on various churches from Texas, Arkansas, and Missouri. Her radiant smile and infectious laugh always made her an instant favorite. She was well known for her generosity and love. In March of 2001, her first of three girls was born. In May of 2001 she graduated nursing school with a BSN. From this point on she would balance the role of mother and nurse. In 2019, she graduated as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She planned to work in labor and delivery, however she found her home in a small urgent care clinic in Dexter at Walmart working for Southeast Health.
