Gwendella Nelson

Gwendella was born June on June 25, 1963 in New Madrid, MO.., to the late Oscar and Laura Nelson, Jr. She was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist church, where she confessed her hope in Christ.  She became an usher and was a singer in the choir.  Gwendella was a very friendly and always made her way to see about others and offer her hand in help.

Gwendella went on her heavenly journey on August 10, 2020, while visiting at her sisters, Janet and Welletta's home.  She was preceded in death by; parents, her sister, Maria Joyce and brother, Alfonzo Nelson.

Gwendella leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Quincy D. Nelson of St. Louis, MO., three grandchildren, Quincy Jr., Amaree and QuLin Nelson of Sikeston, four brothers, Ivory (wife, Justina) Nelson of Chicago, IL., Fredric (wife, Rene) Nelson of St. Louis, Oscar (wife Louise) Nelson III and Terry (wife, Sharon) Nelson of New Madrid, three sisters, Janey (husband, Greg) Hillard of St. Louis, Willetta (husband, Lonnie) Nelson of New Madrid and Darlene (husband, Ellext) Holmes of Columbia, SC., several aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends
