Glen Helmes

Glen Helmes, of New Madrid, Missouri, passed away September 16, 2022, at his home in New Madrid.

He was born August 3, 1946, in Anniston, to the late Elsy Helmes.

Glen owned and operated Helmes Quick Sac and B.J.'s Travel Center until he retired.

He was married to Ruth Helmes, who preceded him in death.

Survivors include: two daughters, Angie and Tim Clayton of New Madrid and Tonya Helmes of Sikeston, one son, Glen Allen Helmes, Jr., and one sister, Sharon Helmes of Cape Girardeau.

His wife, four brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
