Eletha Morris Small was born on October 12, 1936 to the parents of Elijah and Lucinda Morris. She was the third child to this union. Eletha maried Willie Small Sr. On August 3, 1956. Preceded in death by her husband Willie Small Sr.. Son Willie Small Jr., Grandson Jerome Wilderness Jr., Brother Elijah Morris, two sisters Mary Hollis and Mable Tipton Eletha was a faithful member at Pilgrim Rest MB Church. In her earlier years she was actively involved in Bible study & Sunday school, also assistant secretary. She attended Southeast Missouri State University. She was a strong believer in education and spent thirty nine years impacting lives at New Madrid county R1 schools. She also worked at the Lilbourn laundromat for over thirty years. She enjoyed gardening, canning, & loved her flowers. Family meant everything to her. She had a sense of humor & was actively involved in her children & grandchildren’s lives. She never missed an event. She would travel to see all of them by car, plane, or get on that greyhound bus & travel to visit. She was loved by all who came in contact with her. Eletha leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Patricia Wilderness and Pamela Small. Seven grandchidren Marisa Widerness, Justin(Marcea) Wilderness, Jarvas(Vanesha) Wilderness, Katelyn Haddaway, Ronald(Katy) Bearer III. Antowain(Annette) Steward. Eight great grandchildren Jenni Widerness, Jurnee Wilderness, Aaliyah Wilderness, Jazmine Wilderness, Jarvas Wilderness Jr, Treyyeon Steward, Brooklyn Steward, and Blake Steward.
