Doyle Davis

Doyle Davis, 81, was born June 10, 1941 to the late James and Violet Davis. He passed away September 24, 2022 at his home in New Madrid Mo surrounded by his family. 

Preceding him in death were his parents, James and Violet Davis. Also preceding him were 2 sisters, Imogene Benthal and Dorothy Young. 2 brothers, Pete and James (Jinx) Davis. 

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Norma of the home; Daughter Tonya Moore of Lilbourn Mo.; son Josh of St Louis Mo. 2 grandchildren, Bobby and Kimberly Moore of Lilbourn Mo. 2 sisters, Naomi (Bobby) Thatcher and Ruth Benthal of New Madrid Mo. Niece and Nephew, Pam and Wimpy Henry of Lilbourn Mo, along many other nieces and nephews. 

Doyle and Norma Hurley were united in marriage July 29, 1966. He was a member of the Riverbend Pentecostal Church in New Madrid. He loved his Lord and reading his bible. 

He was employed at Noranda Aluminum From 1971 until retirement in 2004. 

Funeral services will be held at the Riverbend Pentecostal Church in New Madrid at 1:00 Wednesday, September 28. Visitation will begin at 11:00 until time of service. Burial will follow at Mounds Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. GL Keene and Rev. Jerry Hurley. Pallbearers will be nephews: Donnie Benthal, Robbie Thatcher, Benji Henry, Michael Henry, Jacob Henry, Greg Hurley and Jason Hurley.
