David Wayne Simmons, 63, of New Madrid passed away March 29, 2021 at his home in town.
He was born July 7, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Julia Blair and Harold Simmons. He worked for the city of New Madrid Police Department for 32 years.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister-in-law.
Survivors include: wife Katherine Renna Kinsey Simmons, who survives of the home, one son, Jimmy Simmons of New Madrid, two sisters, mother-in-law, Maxine Kinsey of New Madrid, brother-in-law, Jay and Robin Kinsey of Guyton, Georgia and sister-in-law, Mona and Willis Lewis of Malden.
