Dad had a great love of basketball and did not miss a 2A state championship for many years, his love of basketball led him to referee basketball. It was a great love and something he greatly enjoyed for many years. He loved to cook for all family gatherings and loved his family beyond measure. He was very selfless, he always wanted his children to have everything they needed without worrying about himself. He was a wonderful grandfather and great grandfather. The grands loved their Poppa Donnie.
Our father's smile, humor, and not so gentle way he liked to tell us what to do will be greatly missed.
