He was born July 29, 1985 in Las Vegas, NV., to Freddie Akridge and Peggy Sue Carper Murphy.

Survivors include: wife Beth Thurston of Malden, daughter Latasha Nicole Akridge, of Malden, brothers, Ben. Thomas, Freddie, and Jonny, sisters, Pamela and Brenda, other relatives and many friends.
