NEW MADRID, Mo. — Terry Douglas Allen died April 2, 2017, peacefully at his home in New Madrid at the age of 67 years.
He was born Oct. 7, 1949, in Bragg City, to the late Henry Howard and Irene Dye Allen.
He was married to Maria Crockett Allen who survives of the home.
He was a member of the the Malden Fire Department for 16 years and a United States postal letter carrier for 14 years.
Terry loved spending time with his family and was a faithful member of the Riverbend Pentecostal Church in New Madrid.
Survivors include: two daughters, Callie Carter and Courtney Carter of New Madrid; three grandchildren, Noah and Eli Tilley and Violet Carter; one brother, Richard (Viola) Allen of Harrah, Okla.; four sisters, Paula Tilmon of Bernie, Jeris (Bob) Beane of St. Louis, Rosemary Nichols of Imperial and Carol (Otto) Underwood of Eminence.
He was preceded in death by two wives, Helen Meyers Allen and Linda Howell Allen; one daughter, Christine Samuel; and one sister, Rhonda Allen.
Visitation is from 9 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Riverbend Pentecostal Church in new Madrid with G.L. Keene officiating.
Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Richards Funeral Home of New Madrid is in charge of arrangements.
