Susan Beattie Huckeby passed away April 11, 2018, at her home in New Madrid, after a long illness. She was born in Milwaukee, WI., on April 29, 1956.
She is survived by: her husband of 41 years, Jack Huckeby, her parents, Frederic and Elizabeth Beattie of St. Louis, two sons, Adam Huckeby (Brittany) of Kansas City and Jason Huckeby of Sikeston, one daughter, Katie Dannar of Scott City, grandchildren, Lorna Dannar and Brody Gray, sisters, Anne Maverick of Baton Rouge, LA. and Sally Beattie of Columbia. Sue had taught in several schools in New Madrid County and ended her career at Lilbourn Elementary School.
