Mary Jones

Mary "Nig" Jones was born December 31, 1957 in New Madrid, MO to the union
of her late parents Pauline (Young) Jones and Atlas Jones. Mary "Nig" Jones
graduated from Lilbourn High School in 1976. She earned her Bachelor of Science
degree from Lincoln University in May 1984 and her Master of Science in Business
from Aurora University in August 1995. Mary "Nig" Jones accepted Christ as her
savior and was a member of Powerhouse Worship Center in Glendale, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her siblings: Ida Mae Smith, James “ Sam Kool"
Young, and Tom Jones; one great-grandson Imory Kee and a special niece

Patricia  “Dank" Jones.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters: Stephany Jones
of Cape Girardeau, MO and Kimyada Jones of Tolleson, Arizona; three
grandchildren Tykeiah Jones and Jamarri Jones of Howardville, MO and De'madre
Wheeler of Dyersburg, TN; 4 great-grandchildren Ilijah Kee, A'mare Jones, Kaine
Reid and Jayce Jones. She also leaves behind three sisters: Harriet “ Ann" Jones of
Kansas City, Rebecca Jones and Margie (Jones) Word of Indiana; four brothers:

Johnnie “ Peal" Jones (Christy) and Robert Jones of Indiana, Atlas “ Jack" Jones
(Pat) of North Carolina, and Earnest “ Man" Jones of Arizona along with a host of
nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Nig's smile lit the darkest room and her personality always shined through. There
was always a good time when she was around, and she was “The Life of the
Party." She sang, danced, and loved her family dearly. She was beautiful inside
and out; yet feisty, independent, and called for respect. We are blessed to have
experienced the love of Mary "Nig" Jones 60 years, 10 months, and 22 days. On
Tuesday, October 9th at 10:25 am she gained her Heavenly wings surrounded by

her loving daughters. She was loved by many and will be truly missed.
