Dennis "Butch" Adams, Jr. 70 of New Madrid, passed away February 18, 2019 at his home in New Madrid.
He was born March 24, 1948, to the late Dennis and Mary Weeks Adams.
On June 3, 1981 in Lilbourn, Missouri, he married Carolyn Swain, who survives of the home.
He was an employee of Noranda Aluminum until retirement. He was a highly decorated Veteran of the US Army, having received a purple heart and many other medals.
Survivors include; one son, Tim Adams of Montgomery Center, Vermont, two daughters, Marsha and husband Kevin Phillips of Cape Girardeau, Brandy husband Steven Medlin of New Madrid, three grandchildren, Cole and Kannon Nowell, and Bailey Kemner, two sisters, Sandra Steward of Dexter and Lori Adams of Lilbourn, and one brother, Terry Lynn Adams of Idaho
