Betty Jean (Barbre) Mowery

Betty Jean Barbre Mowery, 78, of New Madrid, passed away September 14, 2019 at her daughter's home in New Madrid.  She was born June 20, 1941, to the late Fred and Goldie M. Summers Barbre. In New Hampshire in 1959, she was married to Edward "Bud" Mowery, Sr,  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters. Survivors include:

3 daughters and sons-in-law:   Darla Mae and Teddy Harralston, Lilbourn, Carol Sue and Jeffrey Spain, Centralia, IL, Marietta and Darrell Walker, New Madrid, Edward Drue Mowery, Bonne Terre, Buddy Alan Mowery, New Madrid

Granddaughter/Special Caregiver for 10 years: Shauna Riggins

Sisters: Ravenna Grissom and Martha Morris, New Madrid

Preceded in death by: 6 brothers and 4 sisters

Visitation: Wednesday, 5-8 pm at Richards Funeral Home, New Madrid

Service: Thursday, 1:00 pm at Richards Funeral Home, New Madrid

Burial: Evergreen Cemetery
