Terry graduated high school in 1967. We were in the same class, sat next to each other in study hall, and rode the same school bus. It was rural Minier, IL. Terry moved back to MO after graduation and went to college in MO. Then life intervened and our class lost touch. June 2017 was our 50th class reunion and all were either present or accounted for except Terry and now, we know why. How unfortunate for all of us that we were too late to reconnect. Terry was a genuinely nice guy, with a great sense of humor, a quick wit. He was a friend to all of us even though he was in our class for only a short time. We reminisced about him at our reunion and we will do so again. It is comforting to know that he had family and friends and community who loved him and that he had joy in his life. He was my friend.
