Maurine Gateley Foster passed away April 28, 2016 at Southeast Hospital Cape Girardeau at the age of 95 years old.
She was born December 13th, 1920 in Oran to the late Henry and Katey Usery Gately.
She was a nurse at Missouri Delta medical center in Sikeston for 20 years.
She was a member of the New Madrid Baptist Church
survivors include:two sons Billy Joe (Angela) Foster from Roanoke Alabama ,Kenneth Ray (Yvonne) Foster from Lanett, AL., one daughter Karolyn Foster (Joe) lamb of Dyersburg Tennessee.
Sisters; Kathleen Martinez of California, Ruth Hency of Oran
One brother; Melvin Gateley of Cape Girardeau.
Grandchildren: Laura Giles of California, Sarah Stamback of California, Joe Lamb III of South Carolina, Leslie McDonald of Sharpsburg, Georgia ,Jane Whaley of Titusville, Florida, Clint Forster of Wilsonville, Alabama, Kari Sutherland of Oxford Mississippi.
Numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters visitation is 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at New Madrid Baptist Church on Scott Street on Monday services will begin 11 AM at New Madrid Baptist Church on Monday officiating is Jeff Polk burial Evergreen Cemetery New Madrid
