She was born April 14, 1936 in Center Ridge Arkansas to the late Ironton and Mattie Dooley Morris.
She was married to Shirley Hicks who preceded her in death on May 31, 1995.
She was a Headstart teacher for DAEOC and was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church.
Survivors include: Cheryl hicks of Lilbourn, Mo. Lori Hicks of Steel, Missouri, Marsha Hicks of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Stepson; Terry Hicks of New Madrid
six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren
Preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters
