Lillian (Spencer) Kimball

Lillian Spencer Kimball, 96, died Jan. 13, 2016, at Golden Living Center in New Madrid.
Born March 25, 1919, in Savannah, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Nelson W. and Deborah Ida Lay Spencer. 
On April 17, 1941, she married Barney Kimball, who preceded her in death on Jan. 25, 2003. 
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two brothers; one sister; and one granddaughter, Angela Bixler Bisans. 
Survivors include: three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Connie Smith of Shawnee, Kan., John and Cyndie Kimball of Centerville, Va., and Tommy and Karen Kimball of Australia; one daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Jack Bixler of New Madrid; one sister, Reba Grueling of Fort White, Fla.; and 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid. The rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Madrid with the Rev. Jarek Skrzypek officiating.
Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
