Frank Robinson Hadder

February 19, 1935 ~ April 30, 2017 (age 82) 82 Years Old

Frank Robinson Hadder passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017, at New Madrid Living Center in New Madrid at the age of 82 years. 
He was born Feb. 19, 1935, in Lawrence County, Tenn., son of the late Grover and Julia Robinson Hadder. 
On Oct. 22, 1953, he married Laverne Patterson who survives of the home. 
Frank lived most of his life in New Madrid County, after graduating from Matthews High School, he enlisted in the Air Force in 1952 and served five years. He was employed at the Weekly Record for 26 years, the New Madrid County R-1 School District for 15 years as a vocational instructor, retiring in 1999. 
He served as a member of the New Madrid Volunteer Fire Department for 40 years, serving the last 20 of those years as fire chief. He was member of the Lilbourn First Baptist Church since 1960, serving as a deacon, Sunday school teacher, board member for Southeast Missouri Baptist Association and South Missouri Baptist Assembly at Van  Buren. He was also a board member for VNA and a volunteer at Semo Baptist Food Pantry at Hayti and Caruthersville. 
In addition to his wife, survivors include: one son, Terry Hadder of New Madrid; one granddaughter, Kristi and Jordan Tatum of Sikeston; one sister, Mary Lambert of Illinois; one brother-in-law, Edward Patterson of Sikeston; and many nieces and nephews. 
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter-in-law, Cynthia Mills Hadder; two brothers and sisters-in-law, William “Bill” and Edna Hadder and Wilford “Jack” and Pauline Hadder; five sisters and four brothers-in-law, Sarah Jane Hadder, Willena and Albert Painter, Mattie and Albert Morgan, Geneva and Willis Hill and Virginia and Doyle Lambert; and one brother-in-law, Hoyt Lambert. 
Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Lilbourn, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday with Allen Nichols officiating. 
Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. 
Pallbearers will be his nephews. 
Honorary pallbearers will be: deacons Jim Lovett and Dick Weeks and Men of First Baptist Church of Lilbourn. 
Richards Funeral Home of New Madrid is in charge of arrangements.
