Dorothy Lee Grissom, 72, died Dec. 2, 2017, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born May 3, 1945, in Memphis, Tenn., to the late George Shepherd and Bernice Smith Jackson, she was married to Earl Lee Grissom Sr., who preceded her in death.
Survivors include: four sons, Steven Lewis Grissom of New Madrid, LeDale Grissom of Sikeston, Earl Lee Grissom Jr. of Lilbourn and Flenoid Grissom of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Lula Mae Thomas of Atlanta and Jacqueline Wilson of Lilbourn; one sister, Zelnora Brown of Howardville; four brothers, Jack Jones of New Madrid, Richard Jones of Portageville, Lawrence Cosby of Fort Wayne, Ind. and James Earl Shepherd of West Memphis, Ark.; and 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, one daughter, three sisters and four brothers.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until time of services at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Life Changes Church in Lilbourn with the Rev. Earl Lee Grissom Jr. officiating.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid.
Richards Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
