NEW MADRID, Mo. - Charles “Chuck” Patterson, 43, died April 1, 2016, at his home.
Born Feb. 6, 1973, in Sikeston to Roger and Jerrie Ruth Beaher Patterson, who survive of New Madrid, he was a third degree Master Mason with the Masonic Lodge in Cape Girardeau. He was a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a master’s degree in psychology.
On May 29, 2011, he married Carrie Simpson, who survives of the home.
In addition to his wife and parents, survivors include: one son, Daniel Houston of the home; one sister, Christy Ferguson of Marston; his mother and father-in-law, Debbie and Glynn Atchley of Grantsville, Ill; his father-in-law, Bobby Simpson of New Madrid; his brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Stacy Simpson of Vienna, Ill.; a sister-in-law, Natalie Bowser of Sikeston; and two nieces and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jay and Kirby Beaher and Raymond and Louise Patterson; and brother-in-law, Jeremy Ferguson.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until time of services at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Richard’s Funeral Home in New Madrid.
